Who exactly are they?

They are dedicated group of hardcore foodies that have several goals including a passion for food.

They are an award winning barbeque team with truckloads of trophies and awards and they compete both nationally and internationally.

We are pleased that they have come on board! We will be working together to not only share our efforts, but hopefully create new seasonal brews and recipes that feature our beer and their award winning efforts.

Blonde Brined Pork Chops

2-4 thick-cut (1”+), pork chops, rib or double-loin cut

Brine Ingredients:

             2 cups water

             3 cloves garlic

             1 thick cut slice lemon

             1 thick cut slice orange

             1 small yellow onion, quartered

             1/4 cup brown sugar

             1/4 cup coarse sea salt

             2 cups (16oz) of Iron Spike Blonde Ale

French Onion Soup

Ingredients:

             10 cups of onions

             1/4 cup of butter

             1 Tbsp flour

             Salt & pepper

             1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

             500 ml bottle of Iron Spike Blonde

             Plus mozzarella & cheddar cheese

Beer Bread  - “Mmmmm Beer !”

Ingredients:

             3 cups of flour

             1 Tbsp baking powder

             1 tsp salt

             1 x 341 ml bottle of beer

             (Iron Spike of course)

             (acting as the leavening agent)

Iron Spike - Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

2 lb pork
2 lb beef
1 quart beef stock
2 cups Amber Ironspike
2 cups diced green pepper
2 cups diced onion
2 cups red kidney beans (canned)
4 oz dark chocolate
1/4 cup corn meal
2 tbsp ancho chili powder
2 tbsp granulated garlic
2 tbsp toasted cumin (ground)
2 tbsp kosher salt

1 tsp ground pepper
